How We Got Started
We began our vacation rental journey by purchasing a condo in St. George, Utah, over ten years ago, where we sought a brief break from the long Alaskan winters. We envisioned the condo as a place to share with others primarily, and it became a great success! We later bought a second condo in the same resort.
More recently, we renovated our long-term rentals in Anchorage and converted them into short-term rentals. We have lived in two of the three homes. They hold a special place in our hearts, so giving them love through renovation, furnishing, and then sharing them with our guests has been a complete joy!
What I Enjoy About Hosting
The combination of designing the spaces, thoughtfully creating comfortable spaces for various guests, and the satisfaction of receiving fun and positive feedback from guests makes hosting fulfilling. As a newlywed couple many years ago, we had envisioned having a bed and breakfast someday. Once the short-term rental concept emerged, we recognized this as a perfect fit for us to bless those visiting Alaska (and St. George)!
Where We are From
Originally from Montana, I have lived in Alaska for over 25 years! I initially visited Alaska “for the summer”, and have been here since! My husband, Jason, grew up in Kenai, Alaska, with the world-famous Kenai River, in his backyard. He has played a large part in renovating both homes, and enjoys maintaining them and making them welcoming. We are both available to answer any questions regarding your visit in and beyond Anchorage!
Our Mission
We aim to make every guest’s visit carefree. We know our standards when traveling, and these have guided how we approached furnishing, stocking, and cleaning our homes. Most of our guests’ feedback mentions comfort, cleanliness, convenience, and how they feel like “home”!
We also live in Anchorage, so we are available, if needed, in person, via phone, or messaging!
